Snow present in 49 of the 50 U.S. states – This Just In - CNN.com Blogs

It's been a beautiful winter for us in KY much more snow than the last 15 or so years but nothing comparing to our teen years when it would come knee deep and stay that way all Winter Well from around Halloween or shortly after through April . And 18 to 20+ inch snows in the batch those falling in April was short lived though but wet & heavy also making impressive large snow men . This winter has been cold with only a few snows wet enough for making good snowmen but not really deep enough here for that before the cold nights froze it . Oh well it's only Mid January yet and not much more than a good month into our Winter season so we still have plenty of time for much more of that slippery white stuff to come .
